We are looking for a GROUND SEGMENT DEPUTY PROJECT MANAGER to join our growing business in Madrid, Spain. You will be part of an excellent, industry leading team in our ground system division for the aerospace, defence and telecommunications sectors. In this exciting role, you will collaborate closely with the project manager to plan, organise and manage project activities to ensure success, contributing to the development and maintenance of project plans, including defining project scope, objectives, deliverables and timelines. You will also assist in creating work breakdown structures and assigning tasks to team members. Additionally, you will identify project risks and help develop risk mitigation strategies, monitoring and managing risks throughout the project lifecycle, escalating to the project manager as needed. Working with the project manager, you will define and implement quality control measures, ensuring project deliverables meet the required quality standards. The role also involves assisting in monitoring project progress and generating reports on project status, budget and key performance indicators and helping to maintain project documentation including project plans, meeting minutes and project artifacts.
