QA Automation Lead – Hybrid

About the Role

We are looking for a QA Automation Lead with extensive experience in web and API testing and hybrid environments. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the QA strategy, being part of a cross-functional team that unifies testing processes across multiple products, designing a centralized test environment, and ensuring the quality of systems interacting with physical laboratory equipment and reagent control software.

Key Responsibilities

Define and lead the testing strategy, establishing acceptance criteria and test planning. Coordinate the QA team, prioritizing efforts and balancing capacity vs. scope. Serve as the visible QA representative to Product Owners, Project Managers, and internal stakeholders. Prepare status reports, KPIs, and lead go/no-go discussions.

Design, implement, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for UI, API, and end-to-end testing. Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and assess the impact of changes on infrastructure and test environments. Estimate testing efforts, maintain documentation, and guide continuous improvement of the QA team.

Qualifications

7+ years of experience in QA, with 2–3 years as a QA Lead / Test Manager. Strong experience in manual and automated testing, integration, regression, and API testing. Knowledge of automation frameworks and CI/CD tools (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Docker).

Experience

with test management and reporting tools (TestRail, Xray, JIRA). Technical understanding sufficient to discuss CI/CD and infrastructure impacts with DevOps and development teams. Strong communication skills in English and experience working in Agile environments.

Experience

working in SAFe or a large-scale Agile environment. ISTQB Advanced Test Manager or equivalent certification is preferred. What to expect from us? Flexible Work & Work-Life Balance: enjoy options to balance work and personal life, including every other Friday off.
