Wat ga je doen?


Als Service Engineer ben jij onderdeel van het Technical Care team van Wajer. Deze teams zitten verspreid over onze servicehubs in Zuid-Frankrijk (van Cannes tot aan Saint-Tropez) en Spanje (Ibiza, Mallorca en het vasteland). Elk team bestaat uit een Service Manager, voormannen en technici. Naast deze collega's werk je nauw samen met de teams van Care Operations, zij verzorgen elke dag opnieuw een onvergetelijke vaarervaring voor onze klanten.

In deze rol heb jij de belangrijke verantwoordelijkheid om er samen met jouw collega's voor te zorgen dat alle Wajers in jouw servicehub elke dag in technische top staat zijn en blijven. Je wordt blij van tevreden eigenaren die mede dankzij jouw inspanning elke dag weer volop kunnen genieten van hun Wajer.

Een greep uit jouw taken:

  • Het opsporen en oplossen van storingen, zowel mechanische, elektrotechnische als software gestuurde installaties.
  • Het repareren en vervangen van onderdelen, installaties of systemen waaronder aandrijving, besturing, HVAC, navigatie, leidingwerk en specifieke technische scheepssystemen. Het functioneel testen en inbedrijfstellen van deze werkzaamheden.
  • Inventariseren en diagnosticeren van technische werkzaamheden en het plegen van onderhoud voor de jachten.
  • Het schoonmaken en schoonhouden van machines en gereedschappen.
  • Kleine administratieve handelingen zoals het bijhouden van uren en werkzaamheden in de Wajer app.


Wat breng je mee?


Jij bent klantgericht, gestructureerd en organisatorisch sterk. Je hebt een hoog energieniveau, bent enthousiast en weet ondanks het dynamische hoogseizoen altijd scherp te blijven. Door jouw werkervaring ben je erg zelfstandig en ben jij snel op je gemak in wisselende omgevingen. Communicatief ben jij sterk en ben je een echte teamplayer waardoor het voor jou geen probleem is om samen te wonen en te werken met jouw collega's.

Daarnaast:


  • Een afgeronde mbo opleiding (niveau 3 of 4) in een technische richting
  • Ervaring als monteur in bijvoorbeeld de jachtbouw of automotive is een pré
  • Een sterk technisch inzicht, deze kun je ook ontwikkeld hebben door jouw hobby's
  • Bereidheid om meerdaags te reizen voor technische klussen buiten jouw eigen servicehub in Spanje of Frankrijk
  • Goede beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal
  • In bezit van rijbewijs B


In deze functie werk je voornamelijk in Spanje of Frankrijk. Gedurende de wintermaanden werk je afwisselend in Nederland, Frankrijk en Spanje. In overleg met jouw leidinggevende wordt er een jaarplanning gemaakt zodat jij precies weet wanneer je thuis bent. Zo kunnen we bijvoorbeeld rekening houden met belangrijke familiegebeurtenissen.

Over Wajer Yachts
Wajer Yachts is een Nederlands familiebedrijf met een internationale uitstraling. Onze vestigingen in Heeg, Lemmer en Heerenveen vormen het kloppend hart van ons bedrijf, waar we met zo'n 400 collega’s per jaar 50-60 jachten ontwikkelen, ontwerpen, bouwen en testen. Ons sales- en marketingteam is gevestigd in Amsterdam en tijdens de zomermaanden wordt ons team uitgebreid met zo’n 80 medewerkers in onze buitenlandse servicehubs.


Vanuit deze hubs in onder andere Zuid-Frankrijk, Ibiza, Mallorca en Miami bieden we met ons Wajer Care programma een ongeëvenaarde service.
