Backed by Maelstrom (Arthur Hayes), Arrington Capital, and North Island Ventures, we're defining a new category of decentralized infrastructure: trustless decision-making for the AI age.Role Overview We are looking for a Senior Solidity Developer to lead the design and development of our consensus algorithm, baptized as 'Optimistic Democracy.' In this role, you will be responsible for building, maintaining and improving the core smart contracts that power the GenLayer blockchain.What You'll Do Implement and improve the GenLayer consensus algorithm using SolidityEnsure the smart contracts are robust, scalable, and secureCollaborate with the research team to integrate AI-driven consensus mechanismsOptimize the contracts for performance and reliabilityWrite comprehensive tests and documentation for the smart contractsParticipate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team membersRequirements 5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on SolidityIn-depth understanding of blockchain technology and decentralized applicationsProven experience in building and maintaining large-scale distributed systemsFamiliarity with cryptographic principles and secure coding practicesExperience with consensus algorithms and peer-to-peer networkingStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication and teamwork skillsWriting gas efficient Solidity codeBenefits Total rewards package including a competitive salary, equity package, and benefitsFlexible and remote work environmentOpportunity to work at the intersection of blockchain and AI on cutting-edge technologyProfessional development and growth opportunitiesBe a part of a dynamic and innovative team that is shaping the future of decentralized applicationsGenLayer Labs is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from all qualified candidates.#J-18808-Ljbffr
