As an addition to our in‑house development, you will help develop firmware for the next generation of 3D printers by collaborating with the electronics, software and mechanics teams.Qualifications5+ years of experience in the field of firmware developmentProficiency in C/C++Knowledge of microcontrollers and have experience developing FW (Bare metal) and embedded softwareExperience with Zephyr RTOSDesire to create clean, maintainable and testable codeHands on experience with protocols like UART, SPI, I2CExperience with HAL, DMA, Timers, Bootloaders, etc.Hands on experience with HW prototypes and bring up proceduresAbility to use measurement tools like Oscilloscope, Signal Generators, Logic AnalyzerBasic understanding of electronics and ability to read schematicsThe ability of being proactive within the teamA secret passion for reading datasheetsWillingness to travel to our office in Berlin (especially during the onboarding phase)English proficiencyIt’s good to haveKnowledge of GITExperience with build systems (make, cmake)Hands on experience with STM32BenefitsA truly open-minded and supportive work environment with a high level of employee empowermentFlexible working hoursOpportunities for training, development, and trade show attendanceAn international team that enthusiastically implements new ideasOpportunity to help shape policies for future mechanical development at QuanticaWorking in an inspiring environment of a think tank, workshop, laboratory, collaborating with distributed colleaguesFree snacks, coffee and teaSeniority level Mid-Senior levelEmployment type Full-timeJob function Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain and StorageAbout Us Quantica is an additive manufacturing technology company that has developed its own printhead technology.
