EPCM expertise, more than 10 countries around the globe but an entrepreneurial and teambuilding mindset.Now, we are looking for a Junior Project Engineer in our office in Madrid, Spain. This is a role with international and national project exposure and career development. You will join the Buildings unit , responsible for managing EPCM building projects within the Real Estate sector . Our portfolio includes diverse projects across categories such as residential, hospitality, office, industrial & logistics, education, and flex-living .Currently, we are working on projects such as the Velaya residential development in southern Spain , the expansion of a private educational campus in Brussels , the development of logistics warehouses in northern Spain , as well as several office and fit-out projects in Madrid and Barcelona .What is the role About?As Project Engineer of IPS, you will have the responsibility for the planning and management in a wide range of packages and/or complete projects, ranging from small improvements to large projects.Main duties:Support engineering activities during all project phases: conceptual, basic and detailed engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.Help with the timely delivery of engineering packages and interfaces with other disciplines (civil, architectural, mechanical, electrical).Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans in coordination with project management.Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and documentation.Support technical and commercial vendor evaluations and procurement activities.Collaborate with the technical support and guidance during site construction and commissioning, ensuring compliance with design, quality, and safety standards.Support projects under BIM Methodology. Sustainability and consulting projects too.Help in the preparation of progress reports, risk assessments, and change management documentation.Support in client management and representation.Who are you?Degree OR master’s in Building engineering, Civil engineering or Architect.1-3 Years of experience in similar positionsExperience on a building civil project: permitting, civil works and main infrastructure needs, contracting and construction management and supervisionFeeling comfortable taking on many tasks that require various skills and appropriately prioritizing those tasks' completion.Competences MS Office, office package, BIM and AI. Presto would be an asset.Languages: Spanish, English and French. Other is a plus.National and international mobility depends on the project.
