Your daily Mjølner life As a Telecom systems Engineer, your primary responsibilities will be to: Maintain and develop the telecommunications BSS system (Cerillion) where new product offerings are stored, as well as the core telco processes Configure, troubleshoot and manage product packages, workflows and provisioning in the platform Troubleshoot technical issues by identifying root causes and implementing solutions Use SQL for database querying and management and git for code management Utilize ticketing systems to manage and prioritize support requests Work in agile methodologies with members of the team Collaborate with key stakeholders in this business-critical project You will collaborate closely with key teams to ensure that business requirements are accurately translated into technical functionality. Your role will also include supporting our customers in their efforts to offer an optimal product mix and launching new products aimed at driving business growth and enhancing customer satisfaction. You'll work in a hybrid setup, combining onsite days at our Madrid office with remote collaboration with teams in Denmark. Periodic travel to Denmark is part of your onboarding and continued collaboration, allowing you to connect with colleagues and immerse yourself in our company culture. Your qualifications To excel in this role, you should: Be fluent in English Have SQL knowledge and experience and basic Excel skills Understand programming concepts, fundamentals and code repositories using git Understand system integration concepts (API, REST, JSON) Not be afraid of using commands on the terminal Be responsible, proactive, and comfortable in engaging with the clients and other stakeholders Have strong analytical capabilities Dare to experiment. Try things out in a controlled manner Be eager to learn the products of the company and how the business works Be able to travel occasionally to Denmark for client meetings and team-building activities If you are familiar with the Cerillion platform, BSS platforms, Linux environments, billing systems, Liquibase, or other CI/CD tools it is a plus, but not a requirement.
