Mission As a Welding Engineer, your main mission within the area will be within the Manufacturing engineering department to guarantee the quality of welding processes ensuring compliance with standards and regulations. Responsibilities Preparation and implementation of technical documentation (WPS, WPQR...). Guarantee and improve the quality of welding processes by ensuring compliance with standards and regulations. Ability to manage and interpret non-destructive and destructive tests following the applicable regulations in each case. Manage and evaluate welding work subject to high quality standards (aeronautical or aerospace). Coordinate and plan the welding work. Necessary Requirements Degree in Industrial Engineering or similar with high knowledge in welding processes. It is valuable to have the title of International Welding Engineer (IWE). It is valuable to have the title of International Welding Technician (IWT). It is valuable to have the title of international welding inspector (IWI) or at least certain levels of ICS inspection, that is, inspection of welded constructions. It is valuable to have the title of European Adhesives Engineer (EAE) or European Adhesives Specialist (EAS) Essential computer skills spanning the MS Office suite of applications, i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, etc. High level of spanish Desired Requirements Teamwork Troubleshooting Proactivity and achievement orientation Materials and metallurgy knowledge Experience making interpreting macrography Experience making NDI Experience with thermal treatment like PWHT, annealing, distended. Experience with nickel, SS and aluminium alloys Knowledge of adhesives.
