In this role, you will lead our M&A efforts in Spain to success and play a key role in expanding Sanoptis’ presence in this crucial European market. Join our team as soon as possible as Head of M&A – Spain (m / f / d). Lead our strategic growth agenda in Spain : Define and implement our M&A and business development strategy in Spain, including the identification of acquisition and partnership opportunities, as well as strategies for transactions. Steer M&A processes & deals : You will be responsible for all M&A processes in Spain. With support from the Group M&A team and the Country Head, you will own the management of the process end‑to‑end. That includes scouting, the entire due diligence process, valuation, and post‑merger integration, as well as the systematic search, identification, and proactive initial contact of potential targets for M&A or partnering. Network : Leverage and expand your network in the ophthalmology industry to identify new growth opportunities for Sanoptis. This will include financial analysis and strategic considerations. Play a key role in shaping our Spanish market : You will play a pivotal role in building and defining our local organization as we expand in Spain. You will act as a key sparring partner to the Head of Spain and the Sanoptis leadership team in shaping our footprint in this market. A dedicated country team in Spain consisting of a Country Head, Finance, Operations, Marketing and M&A. Our highly qualified M&A Manager in Spain as your direct report and the Group M&A team to leverage cross‑border collaboration. A background in M&A and / or transaction services, ideally with experience in healthcare. The willingness to dive in and create strategic as well as operational excellence within Sanoptis’ M&A activities. A proven track record of delivering outstanding performance and the ability to create, present, and communicate business and financial analysis at the executive level. An assertive, negotiation‑savvy personality with strong communication skills. Excellent Spanish skills (Level C2) and very good English skills (Level B2 and above).
