Principal Software Engineer | Python | 100% Remote

This role is for a Principal Python Software Engineer with a background in Infra to join our Internal Developer Platform (IDP) team. The project will involve working with one of our main international clients in the financial sector. Location – 100% Remote (Spain‑based candidates only) Language – High level of English required Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain the internal developer platform, leveraging Azure and AWS to deliver scalable and resilient solutions. Apply Python expertise to build robust back‑end and UI components, prioritising performance and user experience. Use Terraform, ArgoCD, and other IaC tools to manage cloud infrastructure and improve continuous delivery pipelines. Participate in requirement analysis and product backlog definition in close collaboration with stakeholders. Apply modern DevOps practices, agile methodologies, and TDD to ensure high‑quality releases. Leverage experience in cloud‑native platform solutions to enhance the IDP capabilities. Qualifications Mastery of back‑end development with Python. Practical experience in cloud architecture with a focus on AWS and Azure. Proficiency in cloud infrastructure technologies such as Terraform and ArgoCD. Familiarity with continuous delivery tools such as ADO Pipelines and GitHub Actions. Strong understanding of distributed systems with proven expertise in performance, scalability, and resiliency. High level of English required.
