This is a hands-on role for someone who understands cities, culture, and how to turn ideas into footfall.What’s Your Mission?As Country Marketing Manager – Spain, your mission is to drive growth, visibility, and revenue across our Spanish venues, with Madrid as your clear priority.You will be deeply embedded in the Madrid market, activating local culture, building partnerships, and driving immediate commercial impact. At the same time, you will provide strategic direction and consistency for Barcelona, ensuring learnings from Madrid scale efficiently across Spain.This role is for a sales-minded marketer: someone who thinks commercially, acts fast, and measures success in real-world results.What You’ll DoDrive Growth & Performance (Strategy & Execution)Design and execute a 360º local marketing strategy with a strong focus on maximizing the potential of the Madrid flagship.Analyze performance across campaigns and activations (CAC, footfall, partnership leads, revenue impact).Optimize budgets and tactics based on data, not assumptions.Work closely with Operations to ensure ideas are executable, scalable, and financially sound.Build Partnerships & Commercial OpportunitiesProactively identify, pitch, and close partnerships with brands, agencies, and corporates in Madrid.Drive revenue through private events, team buildings, shoots, and collaborations .Treat the venue as a product — you know how to sell experiences, not just concepts.Act as the external face of IKONO in Madrid’s cultural, creative, and commercial ecosystem.Activate the Brand & Local CultureAct as a local culture insider , understanding the city’s social scene, influencers, and tastemakers.Design and host high-impact activations and events that generate buzz and ticket sales.Be present on the ground — you’re comfortable rolling up your sleeves to make things happen.Barcelona Oversight & Country AlignmentProvide strategic marketing guidance for the Barcelona venue.Ensure brand consistency and alignment with Spain-wide objectives.Apply learnings, playbooks, and best practices from Madrid to Barcelona.Collaborate with local teams to support performance without managing day-to-day execution.What Makes You a Great FitSales-driven marketer: You think like a salesperson and feel comfortable negotiating and closing deals.Go-getter with structure: You balance hustle with planning, creativity with analysis.Startup mindset: You thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments and act with urgency.Collaborative: You work closely with Operations and HQ teams to make ideas real.Madrid insider: You understand the city’s culture and know how to move the needle locally.Requirements6+ years of experience in Marketing, Partnerships, or Sales , ideally within Entertainment, Hospitality, Lifestyle, or Cultural industries.Strong analytical skills and ability to understand ROI and P&L implications .Established professional network in Madrid (brands, agencies, PR, cultural players).Native or bilingual Spanish and fluent English.
