Senior Tax Compliance Specialist (m/f)Location: Madrid, Community of Madrid, SpainJob type: Full-timeSeniority level: AssociateJob function: Accounting/AuditingAs the Senior Tax Manager, you will be part of a local and collaborative Tax team. You will be responsible for the tax relating to client companies in the allocated portfolio with a focus on a particular client sector and for supervising junior roles.ResponsibilitiesCompliance: Review, inspect and analyze different tax declarations; review internal and external prepared tax returns; file internal or external prepared tax returns; review and control portfolio obligations and any other controls; prepare or review clients’ tax compliance status reports; provide technical support for the Accounting and Legal departments regarding tax queries; review invoicing information; attend client and tax advisor meetings or calls.Supervision: Manage the workload of the team, monitor the quality and quantity of the team members; control and monitor portfolio tax compliance obligations; onboard and train team members; give input on team performance to the BUM of the tax department.ProfileDegree educated in Tax lawMinimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in a similar positionFluent in English is mandatoryExcellent presentation skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentAbility to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and perform well under pressureProactive approach to daily tasks and strong team-oriented mindsetInterest in working with different cultures#J-18808-Ljbffr
