Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the COO will provide strategic and hands‑on leadership to optimize site performance, drive operational excellence. Responsibilities Oversee manufacturing operations (process development → commercial scale GMP) for small molecules/APIs, drug product. Lead scale‑up strategy: from early development to commercial manufacturing, including site expansion, capacity build‑out. Drive operational excellence: supply chain, quality systems (GMP), cost‑effectiveness, on‑time delivery. Partner with R&D/CMC, quality/RA, business development to align manufacturing operations with client expectations and regulatory compliance. Global mindset: ability to manage international operations, client interfaces (US, Europe, Asia). Required Experience 10 - 15+ years in pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing operations (preferably CDMO/CMO or API/drug product manufacturing). Proven scale‑up experience (clinical → commercial). Experience in a service environment (client-facing CDMO or contract manufacturing). Understanding of GMP, CMC, process development, continuous improvement. Leadership of large teams, cross-functional; P&L responsibility desirable.
