Key Responsibilities: Work on the latest applications of data science to solve business problems in the Retail and CPG space. Design and implement advanced predictive models to analyze trends and behaviors in the Retail CPG and Agro sectors. Collaborate with stakeholders across data engineering, product, and business teams to understand objectives and provide data-driven solutions. Develop data models and pipelines to support analytical and machine-learning initiatives. Leverage domain knowledge in Retail CPG and Agro to produce insights and identify growth opportunities. Prepare and present insights, recommendations, and data findings to technical and non-technical audiences. Maintain best practices in data science and machine learning, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance. Collaborate, coach, and learn with a growing team of experienced Data Scientists. Stay connected with external sources of ideas through conferences and community engagements. Support demands from regulators, investor relations, etc., to develop innovative solutions to meet objectives utilizing cutting-edge techniques and tools. Minimum Requirements: 6-8+ years of hands-on experience in data science, with a focus on the Retail CPG and Agro- industry. Proficient in Python (pipeline creation, pytest, data manipulation with Pandas, etc.), R, SQL. Strong understanding of machine learning, predictive analytics, and statistical modeling. Domain Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the Retail CPG industry, especially in Agro. Familiarity with industry-specific datasets, trends, and KPIs. Excellent communication skills with the ability to present data insights to a variety of audiences. Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) CI/CD Practices: Experience with continuous integration and deployment practices is a plus. Experience with model deployment and monitoring is a plus. Bias for action, with the ability to deliver outstanding results through task prioritization and time management.
