Data Center Technician Trainee, Data Center Operations AWS Infrastructure Services (AIS) owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and all servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment. This role is part of our Work‑Based Learning Program (WBLP) in Frankfurt. Duties & Responsibilities Collaborate with experienced Amazon Data Technicians during hardware and network troubleshooting. Assist the internal workforce in resolving tickets related to hardware (Motherboard, RAM, CPU, GPU, etc.) and networking (Link Down, Optics Replacements, Switch Replacements, etc.). Perform hardware troubleshooting in servers under AWS Data Tech supervision. Replace media (SSD/HDD) following AWS Data Tech guidance. Perform regular server hardware repairs (drives, motherboards, etc.) under the guidance of experienced techs. Interact with third‑party vendors & contractors on site. Meet SLA requirements for assigned trouble tickets. Follow AWS Data Techs during network troubleshooting. Basic Qualifications High school or equivalent diploma. 18 years of age or older. Available to work 40 hours per week, including overtime as required.
