We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer - Cloud Transformation Lead to join our team at Deutsche Bank in Valencia.

Job Description:

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design and develop application code, implement technical solutions, and configure applications in response to business needs. You will actively participate in the technical design and architecture of the application or its components, propose appropriate solutions, and promote re-usability of existing components.

Working in a collaborative environment, you will have deep knowledge of systems and applications under your control, manage changes, and collaborate in technical analysis, implementation, and testing of approved projects.

You will work on applications based on midrange technology (Java / Angular or other Javascript frameworks) and/or in Cloud technology (Google Cloud Platform).

Your Key Responsibilities:

* Technical design, programming, and testing of new projects, enhancements, and maintenance of a set of applications

* Ensure that IT Application Life Cycle standards are met in ongoing enhancements and maintenance

* Align application changes with the application strategy and technology roadmap

* Identify and manage risk and issues associated with the application

* Ensure maximum operational availability and stability

* Achieve cost efficiency

Your Skills and Experiences:

* English and Spanish advanced required

* Knowledge and experience in systems and end-to-end processes

* Experience in Java / Angular analysis and programming is a must

* Experience in application solutions from a technological perspective

* Ability to understand key aspects of technical platforms and infrastructure, generate ideas, and create effective solutions

* Solid knowledge of software engineering, design patterns, and software architecture

* Development background and demonstrated experience as an analyst

* Experience in analysis of existing systems from high-level architecture to application code review

* Experience with technical documentation, architectural diagram, components, flows, use cases

* Demonstrable DevOps-oriented mind-set

* Experience with testing/QA tools
