Job Title: Investment Associate - Renewable Energy
Location: Hybrid
The Green Recruitment Company has partnered with a leading Renewable Energy Developer to find an Investment Associate to join their team on a hybrid working model.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, create, and analyze financial models to evaluate potential corporate development initiatives.
- Employ 'Project Finance' grade cash flow modeling techniques.
- Assist/lead in the process of evaluation of new investment opportunities from origination to full execution.
- Develop and update PowerPoint presentations supporting the project development process, investment decision-making process, and/or our communications with external stakeholders.
- Be involved in the due diligence processes.
- Build and maintain a network of contacts in the offshore wind energy space.
Requirements:
- 3-6 years of experience working in renewable energy corporate finance and/or business development roles as part of an investment fund, advisory firm, or renewable energy IPP or Utility.
- Excellent financial modeling skills within offshore wind (other renewable technologies would be considered).
- Experience in the negotiation of project financing, M&A transactions, power purchase agreements, and/or EPC contracts.
