Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Specialist to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to work with a talented group of professionals and contribute to the development of our data governance policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in data governance, with a strong understanding of data quality standards and best practices. They will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent and effective data management practices, addressing data complexity and change management challenges.

The successful candidate will also be able to create detailed reports and presentations to communicate data governance strategies, progress, and key initiatives to stakeholders, including senior management. Additionally, they will develop and facilitate training sessions, workshops, and on-boarding for new team members on data governance best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accompany in supporting the development, implementation, and ongoing monitoring of data governance policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent and effective data management practices.
  • Create detailed reports and presentations to communicate data governance strategies, progress, and key initiatives.
  • Develop and facilitate training sessions, workshops, and on-boarding for new team members.
  • Maintain and continuously improve documentation related to data governance standards, procedures, and tools.
  • Organise data governance meetings, discussions, and workshops to foster a collaborative environment for knowledge sharing and decision making.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in data governance.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead initiatives and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
