About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Demand Planner to join our team at Essity. As a Demand Planner, you will be responsible for analyzing historical demand, identifying trends, and developing accurate forecasts to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze historical demand data and filter out outliers to identify trends and patterns.
  • Develop and implement statistical forecasting algorithms to improve forecast accuracy.
  • Enrich base statistical forecasts with timely market intelligence data to ensure informed decision-making.
  • Execute local S&OP process and facilitate monthly Demand Review Meetings to ensure alignment across teams.
  • Act as the local interface to the central demand planning hub and work within the framework of global demand planning processes.
  • Generate new product forecasts using historical substitution and like modeling/scenario planning techniques agreed with Marketing and Category Management.
  • Understand the impact of customer buying patterns on demand and develop strategies to mitigate any negative effects.
  • Effectively communicate with and engage customers on operational issues to ensure seamless collaboration.
Requirements
  • Solid demand planning expertise with a strong analytical mindset.
  • Excellent IT skills with experience in ERP and demand planning systems.
  • Strong team collaboration, time management, adaptability, conflict resolution, and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to effectively engage with customers and stakeholders.
  • English and Italian language skills are a must.
