Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Reliability and Testing Lab Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Engineering department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the proper execution of tests, including those in our Development, Validation, and Production (DVP&R) process, as well as other R&D tests.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting R&T engineers in analyzing the feasibility of scheduled tests.
- Periodically scheduling test benches and monitoring the planning process to ensure continuity and adherence to plans.
- Procuring test material, including consumables required for the test bench.
- Conducting technical feasibility analyses prior to each test and reviewing test conditions.
- Providing support during tests, including assembly, automation, and result collection.
- Executing highly complex tests when technicians are unable to do so.
- Supporting breakdowns, maintenance, and improvements of test benches.
- Ensuring safety measures are in place to guarantee safe testing procedures.
- Managing procedures and quality of assigned tests, supervising generated documentation, and supporting documentation management to meet quality standards.
In addition to these responsibilities, you will also be responsible for functions related to the Quality and EHS system, as outlined in Annex DG.18.1.1.
Requirements and QualificationsTo succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechatronics or Electronics.
- Excellent organizational skills, including prioritization, handling multiple projects simultaneously, and meeting deadlines.
- Strong professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly with Excel.
- Proficiency in Spanish and English, with German being highly valued.
- Experience in test and validation in the automotive or industrial environment.
You must have a strong drive for results, be action-oriented, customer-focused, and possess excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Our ideal candidate is someone who is able to learn quickly and adapt to new situations.
