Job Title: Senior Java Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our team at Krell-Consulting in Barcelona. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development and experience with backend technologies.

Job Description:

As a Senior Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and operating digital products. You will work in an agile team setup, implementing user stories according to the "Definition of Done". Your tasks will include carrying out structured analyses, discussing architecture, and ensuring "clean code". You will also implement non-functional requirements such as IT security, operability, stability, expandability, etc.

Requirements:
  • 3 years of experience in Java development
  • Technical skills: Object Oriented Programming, responsive application development, Java v17+, Spring, SpringBoot, SpringData, Quality coding, Lombok, Java Data-Binding Frameworks (e.g. JPA, Hibernate, DBI)
  • Automation: Gradle / Maven, API - Rest / HTTP Services, SOAP, Swagger / OpenAPI, JSON, CQRS / Event-Sourcing, H2, JCE / Bouncycastle, JDBC
  • DevOps: Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker
  • Message management: Kafka, Kotlin, DB - PL / SQL
  • Methodological skills: CI / CD Testing - TDD, Devops mindset, Agile development, Scrum / kanban
  • Soft skills: team player and communication with stakeholders (client, etc)
