About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer to join our Amazon Business team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative solutions to enable business customers to research, discover, and buy business, industrial, and scientific products in large catalogs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable and efficient software solutions to meet the needs of our business customers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality software code, following industry best practices and Amazon's coding standards.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve the quality of the codebase.
  • Contribute to the architecture and design of new and current systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in professional software development, with a strong background in object-oriented design and programming languages such as Java, C++, or C#.
  • Experience contributing to the architecture and design of new and current systems, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Proven leadership skills, with experience mentoring, tech leading, or leading an engineering team.
  • Strong working knowledge of software development processes, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
