Job Description

The Technical Compliance Engineer provides technical consulting services to regulators, manufacturers, and Engineering staff. This role involves reviewing and evaluating technical matters related to gaming regulatory compliance. The team acts as a technical conduit between regulators and laboratory testing or 'lab mechanics' to ensure tests are performed correctly to the regulator's satisfaction.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide customer service/support to regulators and suppliers
  • Conduct evaluations of submission files, identifying areas of regulatory concern and provide related determinations
  • Handle Incoming Review / Critical modifications
  • Perform Outgoing Reviews / Technical Evaluations
  • Perform Issues/Bugs Evaluations
  • Development of Certification Report Disclosures
  • Evaluate documentation related to submissions/testing and demonstrate a basic level of understanding of gaming product(s)
  • Responsible for maintaining current regulations, jurisdictional profiles
  • Maintains working knowledge of common industry technical standards and minimum internal controls for assigned jurisdictions
  • Maintains familiarization with GLI Standard Series and Evolution and jurisdictional process changes
  • Perform reviews from a regulatory compliance stance on new verification utilities & procedures
  • Develop/maintain internal procedural documentation, coversheets, forms and test scripts
  • Work with the Engineering groups in various offices on regulatory technical questions and issues
  • Provide technical training and/or workshops to internal/external customers
  • Use of JIRA to keep track of current projects
  • Provide support to Development staff
  • Handle Special Projects as needed and assigned
Required Skills and Qualifications

We require a two- or four-year degree in computer science, electrical engineering, computer engineering, or an equivalent technical background. Fluency in EU Spanish (both written and spoken) is mandatory. Additionally, we seek candidates with strong analytical skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to quickly assess issues, find solutions, and analyze results.

This position is based in Sant Cugat del Vallès, Barcelona, Spain, allowing you to work in a dynamic international environment with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
