About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Planning Specialist to join our team at Alstom. As an Industrial Planning Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing demand, optimizing site resources, and ensuring the timely delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consolidate and analyze demand forecasts from various teams, including tender, project, and supply chain teams.
  • Check the consistency and completeness of demand forecasts and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Inject demand forecasts into our Core Planning Tools and manage anticipation processes.
  • Validate the adequacy of firm demand with project teams and suppliers, and register firm needs into our systems.
  • Guarantee that data in our ERP systems is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Collaborate with the quarterly S&OP team to ensure alignment and consistency.
  • Build industrial plans for opportunities, taking into account inputs from tender teams, project teams, site strategic plans, and firm projects.
  • Perform operations workload versus workforce analysis and identify bottlenecks.
  • Provide output to the central S&OP team for global consolidation.
  • Ensure that S&OP instance decisions are reflected in SIOP and cascaded through the organization.
  • Participate in the SIOP cycle by conducting simulations and proposing feasible scenarios.
  • Report WIP and FG for HI consolidation in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that all KPIs are calculated according to standard rules.
Requirements
  • Graduated from a university or engineering school with a Master's degree.
  • 2-3 years of experience in Supply Chain or Planning.
  • Knowledge of E2E vision for Industrial Planning processes and process impact in ERP for procurement and manufacturing is desirable.
  • Good knowledge of Core Planning Tools, ERP, and Excel.
  • High level of English is a must.
  • Good communication and collaborative skills.
  • Innovative, proactive, and autonomous.
  • Customer-oriented.
  • Sense of urgency.
  • Able to make the synthesis of a critical issue.
