Job Purpose
We are seeking a highly skilled Sales and Service Development Manager to develop, implement, and realize sales and service plans, and manage assigned areas within our overall business strategy. The successful candidate will drive commercial and business objectives, exercising discretion and independent judgment when dealing with critical matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Train field and sales representatives/account managers in solution-selling skills to sell at good profit margins.
- Assist sales and field representatives in bringing a full-sales service package to dealers and end-users.
- Act as liaison between the company and the field representatives, facilitating business processes and assisting with problem resolution.
- Achieve sales goals, leading in the selling process and identifying customers and sales channel management.
- Manage profit and loss responsibility, including forecasting sales, tracking margins, and managing costs.
- DSO control.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
- 5-7 years of extensive and successful sales experience or a combination of education and experience.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Superior problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Superb written and oral communication skills.
- The ability to understand and explain technical electrical systems and material handling.
- Basic math ability; proficient in Microsoft applications.
- Able to write reports, interpret general business periodicals, manuals, and journals.
Working Conditions
This position requires working in a plant/warehouse environment, with varying working conditions. The successful candidate must be able to lift up to 50 pounds/23 kilos on a daily continuous basis and be able to frequently bend, twist, reach, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
