- Engage in varied tasks including providing support to end-users on Market Data issues, handling daily business activities, managing small projects addressing major business needs and documenting processes and knowledge.
- Look for automation opportunities and play a proactive role in proposing new processes, tools and approaches.
- Develop specification of new functionality as required by projects across the front, middle and back office.
- Execute ongoing improvement of knowledge through better documentation and knowledge management infrastructure.
- Suggest innovative solutions to business problems/processes that leverage technology to provide marketing differentiation, efficiency improvements and better user experiences.
- Help investigate complex functional software issues, assist in root cause analysis and establish a solution.
- Identify and manage risks and flag major issues early.
Requirements include:
- Knowledge in the capital market domain (funds, investment banks, brokers, market infrastructure, data/platform vendors, etc.).
- Experience with Python.
- Experience working with different asset classes (Equities, Bonds, Derivatives), with solid knowledge of their features and life cycle.
- Technical background with SQL and solid data interrogation skills.
- Positive attitude to face uncertainty and complexity, paired with the ability to provide recommendations and make own judgements.
- Clear and precise communication, leading others and transferring knowledge efficiently.
