The Cloud Architect Advisor will be the primary point of contact for architecture topics, building trust with customers by working closely with internal SAP teams to design technological foundations for their cloud journey under RISE with SAP.

This is a customer-facing role where you will team up with different SAP teams and other parties along customers' cloud journey under RISE with SAP from presales onwards.

The key tasks of this role include:

  • Presenting technical and operational aspects of the RISE with SAP S/4HANA Cloud, private edition offering to CIOs, IT managers, data center managers, and SAP Technology staff.
  • Presenting the technical requirements and value proposition for SAP private cloud.
  • Conducting technical assessment workshops with customers to define the future cloud architecture and plan the migration roadmap together with partners, System Integrators, and SAP Professional Services.
  • Guiding customers on non-functional capabilities such as Business Continuity, Cybersecurity & Compliance, Networking, Technical Operations, and service consumption.
  • Supporting account stakeholders on pricing-related activities and offers creation, providing ongoing deal support to sales teams.
  • Owning technical discussions with customers along their cloud journey under RISE with SAP, orchestrating experts to obtain expertise from the SAP Enterprise Cloud Services delivery organization as required.

To succeed in this role, you should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science from an accredited university, high proficiency in customer-level communications and presentations, and high proficiency in the SAP product portfolio, offerings, and industry solutions.

You should also have good understanding of SAP solutions, operational aspects of SAP solutions in a cloud environment, entire platform stacks, technical capabilities of at least one hyperscale provider, ability to work in a global team of Cloud Architects, willingness to undertake customer-related travel, and fluency in English and Spanish (any other language is an asset).

Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum
