Purpose and Objectives: The Sales Development Executive is a strategic role in SAP to support efforts to identify and execute on strategic growth opportunities related to our partner ecosystem. This includes developing ROI-based business models to evaluate opportunities, gathering business intelligence and performing competitive analysis to uncover new opportunities, and helping to market effectively and measure success of the operational and strategic plan for both software and cloud environments cross-industry and customer segment.
Expectations and Tasks: Working within a defined territory, you will hunt for new clients and increase SAP footprint by building new relationships with new and existing customers through traditional and digital means. You will consult with customers on a range of SAP products to help improve their processes and gain productivity and time, reduce costs and increase revenue. You will also utilize the SAP ecosystem and influence customers' LOB and C-level executives alike, working closely with SAP partners to engage and support efforts to build business development capabilities and organization. Additionally, you will help implement scalable revenue programs and work effectively in a team environment to generate high-impact results.
Work Experience: 2-3 years of business development experience in enterprise software sales is preferred. Experience in ERP, digital supply chain, human resources, customer experience, data management, artificial intelligence, and machine learning is also beneficial. Industry knowledge in manufacturing, healthcare, governance, education, retail, wholesale, fintech, and transportation is a plus. Education and Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or computer science is required from an accredited university, with an MBA or advanced degree in a related discipline preferred. Conversational fluency in English and French is mandatory.
