Game Economy Lead

Scopely is seeking a seasoned Game Economy Lead to join our team and drive the success of our mobile games. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a high-level strategy for improving and optimizing the game economy to maximize engagement and revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and own a high-level strategy for improving and optimizing the game economy
  • Manage the economy and pricing of virtual goods, content, and currencies in the game
  • Collaborate with product teams to design the optimal daily experience for our players
  • Investigate different economic models for different segments of users
  • Build and analyze simulations and predictive models to forecast the results of changes to content
  • Plan A/B testing plans and analyze their effectiveness
  • Manage and optimize game pricing models while defining key segmentation layers to support players' LTV growth
  • Define economy KPIs and build mathematical models to monitor, predict, and validate the impact of features on game balance and player behavior

Requirements:

  • Experience as a game economy manager
  • Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a similar quantitative field
  • High analytical skills and proven experience in quantifying and modeling players' behaviors to reach product/feature goals
  • Proven experience working with Product, Design, and LiveOps teams
  • Proficient in English
  • Experience working with SQL, R, and Python - an advantage
