Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchasing Clerk to join our team at Marriott International. As a key member of our hotel operations team, you will be responsible for managing food and beverage inventory, processing orders, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Calculate and manage food inventory levels, including ordering and receiving supplies
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of inventory, orders, and invoices
  • Process invoices and reconcile shipping documents to ensure accuracy
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with vendors and suppliers
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and handling policies and procedures
  • Monitor and maintain PAR levels for all food items

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in inventory management or a related field
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail
