This role involves leading multiple challenging priorities to completion, working with multicultural teams, and fostering credibility among external authorities and customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of efficiently influencing and developing people, as well as solving complex issues that cross multiple collaborators.
A Ph.D. or equivalent experience is required, along with 7+ years of prior experience in HEOR or market access within the biopharmaceutical/pharmaceutical industry. A thorough understanding of health technology assessment at a global level and successful negotiations through HTA processes are also essential. Additionally, knowledge of the global market access landscape and the U.S. healthcare environment is necessary. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to work effectively in a matrix environment are all crucial for success in this role.
The Director of Global Health Economics and Outcomes Research must be able to develop standard processes in HEOR, including approaches to research methodologies, economic modeling, study designs, and endpoints. They should provide global oversight and guidance to country teams to adapt global strategies into tactical plans through robust Health Technology Assessment processes. This individual will also identify areas for process improvements, economies of scale, and other quality and efficiency measures. Furthermore, they will develop and communicate submission deliverables, including cost-effectiveness models, indirect treatment comparisons, systematic literature reviews, and global value dossiers.
A strong leader with a consistent record of efficiently influencing and developing people is required for this position.
