Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced VP Sales Leader to lead and build a high-performing sales team in Southern Europe. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding our local footprint, and managing teams across the region. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a seasoned sales professional to join our dynamic team and make a significant impact on our business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Execute Sales Strategies

Develop and execute robust sales strategies to maximize revenue streams and achieve ambitious financial targets. This includes aligning the sales organization's objectives with the company's business strategy and ensuring effective sales organization design and resource deployment.

Cultivate Key Client Relationships

Cultivate and nurture key client relationships, strategic partnerships, and alliances to enhance the company's market presence and drive business success. This includes building strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry leaders to drive revenue growth and expand our local footprint.

Lead and Develop Sales Teams

Provide strong and focused leadership to the sales team, fostering a high-performance culture and promoting collaboration within a multicultural environment. This includes developing and executing on strategies to deliver successful partnerships across the payments industry, driving lead generation, and product enhancements to support revenue generation.

Build and Foster Teamwork

Build and foster teamwork across key internal partnerships to deliver on the customer experience and overall sales targets. This includes collaborating with Marketing, Sales Operations, Commercial Enablement, Risk, Finance, and other teams to drive business success.

Qualifications

  • Leadership Experience

10+ years of experience in leading sales and relationship management teams, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and expanding local footprints.

Industry Expertise

10+ years of experience in a leadership role in the payments industry, with a deep understanding of the market and its trends.

Communication and Interpersonal Skills

Proven ability to develop and foster industry relationships with partners, merchants, and payments leaders across the industry, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Adaptability and Flexibility

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, adapting quickly to market changes and driving agility within the organization.

Language Skills

Fluency in English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and partners across the region.
