About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Compliance Manager AML to join our Compliance team at Kantox, a leading fintech company. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our business operations align with regulatory requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Advise senior management on business operations, risks, and policy development, including AML compliance.
  • Develop and implement complete compliance management systems in accordance with organizational plans, adhering to legislation and regulatory bodies' processes.
  • Manage the integration process with BNPP, working on various work streams and projects.
  • Lead the team responsible for implementing action plans from external auditors, GFS, or other regulators.
  • Act as a company-wide resource and liaison on policies, contract issues, communications, workflow, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Lead and manage a team, ensuring effective collaboration, development, and high performance across the compliance department.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of industry processes and regulations, ensuring compliance at all levels, especially regarding AML.
  • Analytical mindset paired with excellent organizational skills, enabling efficient problem-solving.
  • Ability to apply rules to real-life facts swiftly and accurately, ensuring effective decision-making.
  • High standards and meticulous attention to detail, ensuring precision in all tasks undertaken.
  • Executive management proficiency, adept at grasping the big picture while maintaining focus on operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Working proficiency in English, nice to have advanced Spanish.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 6 years' experience as a Senior Compliance Officer or in a similar position, with at least 2 years of team management experience.
  • Proven experience dealing with regulators or supervisors.
  • Professional certification such as Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (ACAMS, ICA, similar).
