This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of statisticians and contribute to the development of innovative statistical methodology in the pharmaceutical industry. As a Lead Statistician, you will be responsible for ensuring the use of appropriate and efficient statistical analysis methods during drug development and life-cycle management. Your expertise will help build and lead teams of statisticians and representatives from other functions to achieve regulatory approval, scientific acceptance, and successful product launch.
Key Responsibilities:- Takes the statistical lead for projects in the represented Statistics Sub-Cluster
- Leads virtual teams of statisticians and/or representatives from other functions
- Contributes to the development and evolution of project standards
- Provides statistical and methodological consultation and contributes to multi-disciplinary teams within or across companies
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in biostatistics, statistics, or mathematics, with at least four years of experience as a statistician in the pharmaceutical industry. You should also have excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills, as well as fluency in English.
