About the Role

As a Plumbing Design Engineer at AECOM, you will be part of a highly qualified team of experts in designing mechanical, electrical, and public health systems for international clients. You will collaborate in designing plumbing installations for complex projects across various sectors, including industrial, healthcare, aviation, commercial, and defense.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and engineering of building plumbing, medical gases systems, and water treatment.
  • Design of fire suppression systems in accordance with governing codes and standards.
  • Perform studies to evaluate the cost-effectiveness of design alternatives.
  • Develop technical specifications, plans, elevations, sections, and details.
  • Prepare design-related calculations and verify compliance with applicable codes and engineering standards.

Requirements
  • BS in Mechanical Engineering or similar field.
  • Strong background in mechanical engineering, especially in plumbing systems.
  • Good knowledge of international regulations and standards.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
