DNV's Renewables Advisory group in the SEMELA region is seeking a Senior PV Module Expert to join our Solar Team. Our region holds a substantial market position for technical due diligence, owners engineering, and energy analytics. We support customers in their financing, construction, and operation of solar energy projects.

You will work as a Project Manager and/or quality assurance for technically complex assignments in the region, managing bids on behalf of DNV and leading the team for the innovation of PV module technology services.

Your tasks will include:

  • Project management of complex projects related to PV module and solar PV technology.
  • Providing quality assurance support for PV module technology review.
  • Initiating and coordinating technical review processes among internal specialists.
  • Supporting in reviewing module supply agreements, factory acceptance testing, and site acceptance testing for PV modules.
  • Developing and innovating in-house tools and global capabilities for technology review.
  • Supporting internal energy assessment teams for PV module technology-related benchmarking and updating loss considerations.
  • Supporting internal measurements teams in their PV module measurements service development.
  • Complex internal/external stakeholder management.
  • Supporting/developing win proposals for scopes of services related to PV module bankability studies and similar scopes.

This position is based in Barcelona, Spain. You will report to the Solar Technology and Analytics Team Lead based in Dubai, while collaborating with regional/functional teams in SEMELA.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • 6+ years of experience working in the solar industry with 4+ years in PV module technology design/manufacturing/QAP.
  • Familiarity with solar PV industry technology.
  • Project management and ability to balance multiple projects under tight deadlines.
