Laboratory Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated Laboratory Technician to provide critical support to our PerkinElmer lab service team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing chemicals and reagents, preparing shipments, and maintaining inventory and safety data sheets.

Additionally, the Laboratory Technician will raise and track purchases, coordinate deliveries, and interact with customers to solve technical problems.

Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow oral and written directions are essential for this role.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in a chemistry, biology, or relevant discipline, or equivalent experience in a laboratory environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Management of chemicals and reagents
• Preparation of chemical and biological shipments
• Maintenance of inventory and safety data sheets
• Raise and track purchases
• Coordinate deliveries and interact with customers

Working Environment:

The Laboratory Technician will work in a laboratory environment, requiring personal protective equipment and ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods.

The ideal candidate will be able to lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally move or lift heavier objects.
