Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Digital Content Manager to join our dynamic editorial team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive content strategy that drives engagement and growth across our social media platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage our international communities on social media, creating high-quality and engaging content that resonates with our audience.
  • Drive audience growth and engagement across multiple social platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube.
  • Stay current with social media trends and source content accordingly, ensuring our content is always fresh and relevant.
  • Collaborate with our Director of Social Media and Editorial Executives to schedule and promote editorial-sponsored content across all platforms.
  • Complete timely qualitative and quantitative analysis/reporting to improve our proposals and drive business growth.
Requirements
  • Native-level Spanish and Catalan, with English proficiency.
  • Extensive knowledge of Barcelona and Catalonia, including its people, customs, and sense of humor.
  • 2+ years of experience running social media accounts for a newsroom, agency, or brand, or personal projects related to social media.
  • Strong understanding of digital media trends and a good feel for what makes content popular online.
  • Ability to adapt to the fast-paced world of a digital startup business.
  • Experience with social media tools like Falcon, Canva, CapCut, Creators Studio, Storrito, Later, and similar.
Desirable Requirements
  • Mastery of Canva and proficiency in editing short, engaging videos.
  • Experience with design/edit tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, Final Cut, etc.
  • Knowledge of content discovery mechanisms and optimization levers within a digital media platform.
