Key Responsibilities- Payment Systems Management: Oversee the daily operations of our payment systems, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments.
- Payment Platform Management: Manage and maintain payment platforms, gateways, and related financial systems.
- Payment Strategy Development: Create optimal payment strategies, including scoring of customers, payment terms, and payment frequency.
- Working Capital Optimization: Work with subsidiaries to reduce trapped cash and optimize working capital.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies, and identify opportunities for system enhancements to improve efficiency, security, and user experience.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with payment service providers, banks, and other financial institutions, and negotiate contracts and service level agreements to ensure cost-effective and reliable services.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with internal stakeholders across the organization to align payment systems with business needs, and communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure seamless payment processing.
- Financial Reporting and Analysis: Oversee the preparation of financial reports related to payment systems, and conduct analyses to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. An advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., ACCA) is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in finance or payment systems.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of payment processing, financial systems, and related technologies, excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills in English.
