About the Role:
- This position involves designing, developing, and maintaining complex Java applications with a focus on performance and scalability.
- As a DevOps engineer, you will be responsible for deployment pipelines, ensuring smooth deployments to various environments.
- You will collaborate with the operations, support, and maintenance team to ensure the success of our IT service.
- A strong understanding of Business Rule Engines, preferably Actico Platform, is highly desirable.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop high-performance Java applications.
- Take ownership of deployment pipelines, ensuring timely and successful deployments.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless IT service delivery.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Java technology and Actico Platform.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- System engineering and development experience on the Java technology stack.
- Experience as a DevOps Engineer on CI/CD pipelines using Git/GitLab, Octopus, Helm Charts in Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux/RHEL 8 environments.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle DB and SQL.
- Good understanding of integrating REST web service technologies.
- Experience with Git and GitLab for version control.
- Experience with Eclipse for development and debugging.
- Desirable: Experience with Actico Platform.
- Beneficial: Business Rule Management (modelling, management, and implementation).
