About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer to join our team at Amazon Spain Services, S.L.U. in the Invoice By Amazon platform. Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate with teammates to support the development of Java and AWS CDK code for new features on IBA systems.
- Drive improvements in team-level code quality, process efficiency, and knowledge sharing.
- Troubleshoot a wide variety of customer issues across the AB ordering domain.
- Focus on Operational Excellence, including development processes, monitoring, code deployment, automated testing, and dashboarding.
- Work with partner teams to enable key IBA behaviors on their platforms.
About the Team
The IBA CAP team is a two-pizza team that owns Compliance, Accounting, and Payments. Due to the peculiarities of IBA, we build our own Payment methods, flow of funds, Accounting bookings, and ensure compliance requirements are met (invoicing, citation, etc.). Engineers on our team work regularly with owners of foundational platforms across the ordering lifecycle, posing a great challenge in terms of cooperating with stakeholders from diverse domains, but offering equally great opportunities to have a big impact, grow, and innovate.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
