About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Software Engineer to join our team at Solera Corporation. As a key member of our software development squad, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and delivering high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our international market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Translate Business Requirements into Technical Deliverables: Collaborate with our product and business teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical deliverables that meet our customers' needs.
  • Develop New Features: Design and develop new features using domain-driven and microservices architecture, ensuring that our software solutions are scalable, maintainable, and meet the highest standards of quality.
  • Extend Features on Existing Applications: Enhance our existing applications by adding new features, improving performance, and ensuring that they remain relevant to our customers' needs.
  • Investigate and Resolve Defects: Identify and resolve defects in mission-critical systems, ensuring that our software solutions are reliable and meet the highest standards of quality.
  • Take Ownership of Feature Delivery: Take ownership of feature delivery through the software development lifecycle, working closely with our DevOps team to ensure that our software solutions are delivered on time and meet the highest standards of quality.
  • Contribute to Core Architecture and Technical Design Standards: Collaborate with our technical teams to contribute to the development of our core architecture and technical design standards, ensuring that our software solutions are scalable, maintainable, and meet the highest standards of quality.
Requirements
  • At Least 4 Years of Experience in Software Development: We are looking for a highly experienced software developer with a minimum of 4 years of experience in software development.
  • Proficiency in Java and Spring: You should have proficiency in Java and Spring, with experience in developing large-scale web applications.
  • Experience with Git, Maven, and REST APIs: You should have experience with Git, Maven, and REST APIs, with a strong understanding of software development best practices.
  • Knowledge of Relational and Non-Relational Databases: You should have knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, with experience in designing and implementing database solutions.
  • Professional Proficiency in English: You should have professional proficiency in English, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Frontend Development: Experience in frontend development, with expertise in building responsive UIs.
  • Expertise in Application Lifecycle Management, DevOps, and Continuous Delivery/Deployment: Expertise in application lifecycle management, DevOps, and continuous delivery/deployment, with experience in implementing these practices in a software development environment.
  • Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design, Event-Driven, Microservices, and Hexagonal Architectures: Knowledge of domain-driven design, event-driven, microservices, and hexagonal architectures, with experience in designing and implementing software solutions using these approaches.
