Cloud Data Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Data Architect to join our team.

About the Job:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining scalable data pipelines using cloud-based services. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of data solutions.

  • Design and implement data models using industry-standard tools such as ER/Studio, ERwin, Oracle Data Modeling, or Toad Data Modeling.
  • Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines using cloud-based services, leveraging PySpark, Python, and Databricks.
  • Work closely together in an agile team with members located in other countries (team language will be English).

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 4+ years of overall industry experience specifically in data engineering.
  • Experience with Google cloud platforms (GCP) OR Azure Cloud platform.
  • Python programming experience.
  • Experience using version control (GIT), software development, Kafka or PubSub and Docker.
  • Experience using Terraform.
  • Experience using Apache Beam with Dataflow.
  • Experience working with Google BigQuery and/or Snowflake.
  • Very Strong technical developer (Python, Pyspark, DBX, GCP or Azure DE stack, ADF, Logic apps, devOps - CI/CD).
  • Preferably GCP/Databricks or Azure Microsoft certified Engineer.
  • Interest or experience in being part of agile teams (Scrum).
  • Knowledge of Clean code principles.
  • Strong verbal and written skills in English.
