Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Steamfitter to join our maintenance team at our uranium production facility. As a Steamfitter, you will be responsible for performing layout, assembly, fabrication, maintenance, and repairs of process piping/plumbing, structural steel, and emergency response systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform layout, assembly, fabrication, maintenance, and repairs of process piping/plumbing, structural steel, and emergency response systems
- Work as part of a team to support 24/7 uranium production facility operations
- Participate in emergency response training and be a member of the Emergency Response Team (ERT)
- Meet the physical demands of the job, including working at heights and in confined spaces
- Use trade-related hand tools and equipment safely and effectively
- Work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
- Contribute to a safe and healthy work environment
Requirements
- Certification of Qualification (C of Q) as a Steamfitter/Pipefitter
- NFPA 472 Operations and Technicians Certification
- Physical ability to perform assigned duties
- Able to work a continental shift
- Possesses required trade-related hand tools
- Demonstrated work performance consistent with a team environment
- Strong commitment to health, safety, and environment
