Job Title: Refrigeration Systems Specialist

Description:
We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Systems Specialist to join our team at Engineeringuk. As a Refrigeration Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert support and guidance to drive safety, performance, and maintenance of refrigeration systems across a portfolio of sites. This role involves working closely with the teams Scheduler and on-site RME personnel to schedule preventive maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs for industrial refrigeration systems. You will utilize advanced monitoring tools and software platforms to remotely monitor the performance and operational parameters of industrial refrigeration systems. Your key responsibilities will include remote monitoring, alarm management, data analysis, maintenance coordination, documentation and reporting, maintenance optimization, technical support, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:
• Utilize advanced monitoring tools and software platforms to remotely monitor the performance and operational parameters of industrial refrigeration systems.
• Respond promptly to system alarms and alerts, investigating the root cause of any deviations from normal operating conditions.
• Coordinate with on-site RME teams to address alarms and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and maintain system integrity.
• Analyze data collected from monitoring systems to identify trends, anomalies, and potential issues with refrigeration system performance.
• Generate reports and provide insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with the teams Scheduler and on-site RME personnel to schedule preventive maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs for industrial refrigeration systems.
• Maintain accurate records of system performance, maintenance activities, F-Gas logs, and troubleshooting efforts.
• Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the escalation specialists and field teams.
• Collaborate with field RME teams to develop and implement best practices for preventive and predictive maintenance of refrigeration systems.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency gains in maintenance processes.
• Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with regulatory requirements and safety standards.

Qualifications:
- Significant experience in industrial refrigeration systems, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of refrigeration principles, equipment, and components.
- Familiarity with remote monitoring tools and systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Commitment to safety and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration Engineering, or related field. Or an Apprenticeship in Refrigeration or similar.
- Food Safety Qualifications.
