Metrology Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Metrology Coordinator to join our team at Draxton, a leading company in the automotive components sector. As a Metrology Coordinator, you will be responsible for leading and supervising the metrology team, ensuring optimal condition and calibration of metrology equipment, and collaborating on the development of new projects.

In this role, you will:

• Lead the metrology team and assign workloads based on project demands and engineering priorities.
• Evaluate and optimize metrology processes to ensure precision and quality in manufacturing.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to develop new projects and improve existing ones.
• Drive continuous improvement within the metrology department and across the company.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A technical diploma or engineering degree or equivalent experience in metrology or a related field.
• Proficiency in management software and metrology techniques, including technical drawing and contactless measurement.
• Knowledge of foundry processes and client specifications, as well as skills in team management and spatial awareness.
