Arborist Climber

We are seeking an experienced Arborist Climber to join our team at Wright Tree Service. As a vital member of our crew, you will be responsible for trimming and removing trees using various techniques and equipment.

The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in arboriculture, including tree identification, pruning techniques, and safety protocols. They will also possess excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with customers and colleagues.

• Trim and remove trees using ladders, climbing gear, and powered equipment
• Cut branches or trunk sections and lower them to the ground safely
• Assist crew lead with obtaining customer permission and promoting good relations
• Direct crew members when the lead is away from the job site
• Maintain knowledge of new equipment, specifications, and operating procedures

• Bachelor's degree in Horticulture, Forestry, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in arboriculture, with a focus on climbing and pruning
• Valid commercial driver's license (dependent on Division and utility/contract requirements)
• Ability to lift, move, and maneuver up to 50 pounds on an infrequent basis
• Ability to work long hours, including overtime during emergencies

• Competitive salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year (based on experience)
