Mainframe System Analyst

- Analyze large volumes of mainframe data to identify storage cleanup opportunities and optimize system performance.
- Develop and enhance jobs for file transfer between mainframe systems and X86 platforms, ensuring seamless data exchange.
- Create mapping dictionaries between mainframe files and cloud locations using DB2 table design principles.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver analysis results and support ongoing improvements in file transfer and storage management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience as a Mainframe Developer or equivalent role.
- Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, REXX/CLIST, and File Transfer protocols.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to process large volumes of data efficiently using MS Excel.
- Familiarity with mainframe storage management (DASD/Tape) is a plus.
