Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager Mergers and Acquisitions to join our team at Almirall. As a key member of our Corporate Development team, you will be responsible for driving strategic transactions and business growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Valuation and Business Case Development: Perform complex financial analyses to support potential collaborations, acquisitions, divestments, and licensing transactions.
- Business Case Modelling: Develop and present business case scenarios, taking into account pharma-specific factors such as risk and probability weighting.
- MA and Corporate Development Process: Manage internal project teams, coordinate inputs into board decision documents, and drive the organization towards strategic goals.
- Transaction Management: Oversee smaller transaction processes end-to-end, interact with internal legal counsel, and manage transaction services providers.
- Opportunity Assessment and Origination: Assist in assessing MA and Corporate Development opportunities, including strategic fit, rationale, and potential critical issues.
- Strategic Planning: Perform selected strategic analyses and support internal strategic planning processes.
Requirements
- Education: University degree in business studies, economics, or engineering, with an MBA or advanced degree a plus.
- Experience: 4-6 years of experience in Strategy Consulting, Investment Banking, or Transaction Services, with specific experience in the science sector and/or international experience a plus.
- Skills: Excellent command of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with strong business proficiency in English, and knowledge of other languages a plus.
