Electrical Installation Specialist

Cameco Corporation is seeking an Electrician to join our team at Key Lake, a world-class uranium mine in northern Saskatchewan. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical equipment in various areas of the mine. Your expertise will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our high-voltage systems.

• Installation and maintenance of electrical equipment, including high-voltage switchgear and solid-state systems
• Troubleshooting and repair of electrical issues in various areas of the mine
• Working with programmable logic controllers and AC/DC variable speed motor drive controllers

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A valid Saskatchewan or inter-provincial journeyperson electrician ticket
• Five or more years of industrial experience in electrical maintenance
• Familiarity with high-voltage switchgear systems and solid-state equipment
• Excellent safety record and ability to work in a rotational schedule
